Alexander Laszlo – Syntony Sense: Evolutionary Intuition for World Changers. 23 April 2025

Alexander Laszlo plays his flute and harmoniously introduces us to syntony. Despite technological challenges, he successfully navigates a presentation of complexity, chaos, and transformation. To syntonise we should firstly stop and listen, secondly connect, and sense what is emerging and then go with the flow. This was exemplified when Miha Pogačnik played his violin for the first time in Chartres Cathedral. He had to stop because the violin sounded small and wretched, then he listened and felt a deep spiritual resonance. It was less like he was playing his instrument, and more like the cathedral itself was playing on his soul.

Syntony is the synergy of interconnected parts dancing together to form a greater whole. The space between the parts creates a liminal potential or “holoflux” where two systems meet. This often happens in the transitional space or “ecotone” where two plant communities or habitats meet and integrate such as between grassland and forest, estuaries and lagoon, freshwater, and sea water. It happens when a host organism and its associated microbiome become a single functional unit or “holobiont” e.g. 57% of the cells in our bodies are made of non-human DNA . The human intra-being, however, also has luminal potential to become an inter-being. You can connect in dynamic harmony with other people, with your ancestors and with the cosmos. You are not a drop in the ocean, you are the entire ocean in a drop. Have fun, dance with the chaos, align with your evolutionary purpose and tune into
the opportunities that present themselves.
