Andy Tomlinson and Reena Kumarasingham – Between Lives: Past-Life Regression and Near-Death Experiences. 1 April 2026

Tomlinson and Kumarasingham are a husband and wife partnership, both psychologists and have years of training and experience in studying past life spiritual regression under hypnosis. They were initially trained by Dr Michael Newton and their academy of regression therapy has over 25 years of experience in this field.

Prompted by a profound NDE that Kumarasingham had during the covid epidemic they decided to explore the similarities or differences between the experiences of NDE and that of between lives spiritual regression (BLSR).

Their methodical research found a strong correlation between the two phenomena. However the BLSR subjects were accessing distant past memories and so some of the sequelae were less intense, particularly in the desires to make profound changes in their lives. Clearly the NDE events were spontaneous and embedded in their current lives not just past life memories. Nevertheless a sense of profound meaning and purpose, a new depth of insight and intuition, as well as a loss of the fear of death were gifted to the lives of both groups of individuals.

In conclusion the presenters felt that by exploring both these phenomena they accrued more reliable data on the expansion of consciousness after death.

They gave very helpful tips for raising one’s vibrational level by making positive lifestyle changes and seeking out people and situations that would mirror this such as joy, peace, love and trying to avoid the negative triggers of shame, guilt and fear.

We appear to be going through a great time of planetary transformation, we hope through painful birth pangs towards a new higher consciousness . This presentation which challenges our predominantly mechanistic and materialistic world view is therefore timely and very welcome.
