Status: Independent science educator and lecturer (retired)

Background and Education:

Trained in metalwork and applied crafts, with a subsequent professional career in education as an amanuensis in physics and medical imaging. This combination of technical craftsmanship and scientific pedagogy has shaped my long-standing interest in the practical and conceptual foundations of science.

Professional Experience:

Formerly worked in secondary and higher education supporting physics teaching and laboratory practice. Since retirement, I am actively engaged in educational volunteering, particularly in museum contexts, with a focus on hands-on microscopy workshops for children and young people.

Current Activities:

• Volunteer science educator in a museum setting, specialising in microscopy and observational science.

• Independent lecturer on topics ranging from natural philosophy and history of science to contemporary questions around consciousness, immaterial phenomena, and epistemology, aimed at general and non-specialist audiences.

• Author of essays in both Dutch and English on themes including scientific scepticism, paradigm shifts, and the limits of materialist frameworks.

• Development of visual lecture materials and educational resources using Apple Keynote.

• Development of physics educational equipment.

Experiential Background:

Alongside formal educational and professional activities, I have long-standing personal experience with certain anomalous and transpersonal phenomena, including lucid dreaming, dowsing, and limited forms of entity communication. I approach these experiences phenomenologically and reflectively, as part of an ongoing personal exploration of consciousness, perception, and non-ordinary modes of knowing.

These experiences inform my interest in frontier topics and my engagement with questions around the limits of conventional scientific models, without being presented as formal research or evidential claims.

My interests are situated at the intersection of:
