I wonder how we might get more from the membership of this group in order to feed it into the wider membership and generate interest and energy in exploring the issues around the esoteric. My interest in indigenous cultures has been taken to another level from reading many books about such cultures and their relationship with the environment. Recently I have been reading ‘Voices of the first day’ and exploration of awakening in the Aboriginal Dreamtime that opens up a wider vista than I have found so far. There is so much that science demands before you even begin to explore any subject that limits its scope in understanding the nature of reality. Being adopted by an aboriginal tribe made a massive impact on me aged 19, but that was in a hunter gatherer tribe and there is a difference between even the desert landscape of such tribes and forested that takes you to a deeper understand of life and reality. Do other members of this group share with individuals outside of the group or how can we create a more active exploration of the issues raised? I am not too good with modern technology, but willing to help and share in anything that helps gain momentum and activity. Namaste, Rex
PS I am not an academic, just a fool interested in understanding why we, modern western man, thinks we are more advanced than the indigenous cultures we have eliminated through our need to exploit this planet’s resources.
