11. Refunds and Cancellations
The following terms apply to purchases made through this website. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
11.1 Event Tickets
If you wish to cancel your event registration, please contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible. Refunds for event tickets are considered on a case-by-case basis and are at SMN’s discretion. Where SMN cancels an event, registered ticket holders will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to a rescheduled event.
11.2 Membership Subscriptions
You may cancel your membership subscription at any time by contacting us or through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. SMN does not offer pro-rata refunds for unused portions of a membership period except where required by applicable law.
11.3 Digital Content
Where you purchase access to digital content such as event recordings or online resources, your statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 begins at the point of purchase. By accessing digital content before the end of the 14-day cancellation period, you acknowledge that you are expressly requesting immediate access and that your right to cancel is thereby waived once access has been provided, except where the content is faulty or not as described.
11.4 General

12. Donations
SMN accepts voluntary donations in support of its charitable educational mission. Subject to the paragraph above, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will we be liable for any direct or indirect damages (including any damages for loss of profits or revenue, loss or corruption of data, software or database, or loss of or harm to property or data) incurred by you or any third party, arising from your access to, or use of, our website.
Subject to the paragraphs above, and except to the extent any additional contract expressly states otherwise, our maximum liability to you for all damages arising out of or related to the website or any products and services marketed or sold through the website will be limited to the total price that you paid to us to purchase such products or services or use the website. 22. Breaches of These Terms and Conditions
