Paul Kieniewicz – Overcoming Fate – A gnostic and hermetic perspective
Are we ruled by astrological forces that dictate our destiny? Can we set ourselves free from our “birth programme”? Gnostics believed that Jesus had abolished horoscopes. In the Hermetic treatise, “The Secret Teaching on the Mountain,” Hermes shows his disciple how to free himself from the zodiacal forces that hold him back, and to be reborn. The sermon has a profound psychological message about knowing the shadow and inner integration.
Born in Scotland, PAUL KIENIEWICZ is an astronomer and geologist by training. He has lived in Scotland, California and in the “Lone Star State,” Texas. He has worked as a teacher and geophysicist. He has long studied early Christian literature, of which he is an expert and translator.
Since 2015. Paul lives permanently in Poland, where he runs the Sichow Educational Foundation, which promotes holistic education. He is the author of the Polish translation of the Gospel of Philip, the Gospel of Thomas and the Gospel of Truth. His talks on gnostic texts are available online. His other works include Harmony of the Universe, The Cosmic View, published in English, and fantasy novels Immortality Machine and Gaia’s Children.

Paul KieniewiczAstronomer and GeologistPaul Kieniewicz was born in Scotland, and holds degrees in Astronomy and Geophysics. He is Vice-Chairman of the Scientific and Medical Network. More recently he lives in Poland, where he lectures and writes on Gnosticism, translating Gnostic texts into Polish. He is the author of science fiction novels, Immortality Machine and Gaia’s Children, and co-author (With Andrew Glazewski) of Harmony of the Universe and The Cosmic View.
