Christopher Keevil will be joining us to both lead a meditation and share his experience and practice of Zen. In his talk, Christopher will describe how regular meditation and spiritual practice shifts the sense of self, increasing one’s realization of interconnectedness, compassion, and love. There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion.

About the speaker:
Christopher Keevil is a Zen teacher and has received formal recognition in the teaching lineage of his teacher, Zen Master Bo Mun, who is a dharma heir of the Korean Zen Master Seung Sahn. Chris has been a practitioner of Zen since 1991 and has been teaching since 1998. He is the teacher and host of Garden Oak Sangha, a virtual gathering of friends who come together to meditate and share in the Zen tradition. Chris’ book, titled Finding Zen in the Ordinary, is a collection of vignettes, stories, and reflections and was recently published by John Hunt Publishing of London. Chris is also the Founder and a Partner at Wellspring Consulting, a US-based firm that helps leaders of charitable organizations plan for the future. Chris lives in Connecticut, in the United States.
