Dean Radin is Chief Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS), Associated Distinguished Professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies, and cofounder and chairman of the neuroengineering company, Cognigenics. He earned an MS (electrical engineering with honors in physics) and a PhD (psychology) from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. In 2022 he was awarded an Honorary DSc (doctor of science) from the Swami Vivekananda University in Bangalore, India. Before joining the IONS research staff in 2001, Radin worked at AT&T Bell Labs, Princeton University, University of Edinburgh, and SRI International. He has given over 815 talks and interviews worldwide, is co-inventor on 12 patents, and is author or coauthor of some 350 scientific and popular articles, book chapters, and five books, four of which have been translated into 15 foreign languages so far: The Conscious Universe (1997), Entangled Minds (2006), Supernormal (2013), Real Magic (2018), and The Science of Magic (2025).

Dean Radin es científico en jefe del Instituto de Ciencias Noéticas (IONS, por sus siglas en inglés), profesor asociado distinguido del Instituto de Estudios Integrales de California y cofundador y presidente de la empresa de neuroingeniería Cognigenics. Obtuvo una maestría en ciencias en ingeniería eléctrica con mención en física y un doctorado en psicología por la Universidad de Illinois en Urbana-Champaign. En 2022, la Universidad Swami Vivekananda de Bangalore, India, le otorgó un doctorado honoris causa en ciencias. Antes de incorporarse al equipo de investigación de IONS en 2001, Radin trabajó en AT&T Bell Labs, la Universidad de Princeton, la Universidad de Edimburgo y en SRI International.
