Dr. Mark Vernon – Imagination, Inspiration, Intuition
We live in a highly imaginative world. The screens and surfaces that surround us display myriad images. And yet, a sense of confusion or emptiness accompanies this profusion. So what are imagination, inspiration and intuition? What difference is made by understanding and awareness? How does human intelligence relate to the intelligence of the wider cosmos and living world? Particularly using William Blake as a guide, this talk will seek to expand our sense of wisdom, insight and presence, focusing particularly on what can be called spiritual intelligence. How can we renew the sense of being human for our times?
