Dr Siegmar Gerken in conversation with Dr Stanley Krippner
Human Possibilities Beyond Our Ordinary Appearances?
This rare interview covers the fascinating life work of one of the early consciousness researchers and his path to study the human possibilities beyond their / our ordinary appearances.
His childhood awakening – that reality has much larger and subtle dimensions unknown to mankind – left him with the call to study these phenomena for the rest of his life – to these days. Prof Krippner documented early research in the 70s on the dynamic human energy fields and furthered the expansion of thinking and discussion about these domains – opening the door for other researchers to follow.
He was the leading psychologist and researcher in the dream laboratory at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. That laboratory became well known for the study of communication during dreamtime – such as telepathy. This work -already documented in the 60s and 70s – indicated that researching subtle states on the basis of material physics will always remain a limited approach, and that we have to go beyond the brain to find meaningful answers.
Dreamwork is an integral part of most shamanic traditions. Shamans are men and women who use altered states of consciousness to travel into dreamtime, obtaining power and knowledge to help and heal members of their society. Stanley travelled the world, especially in South America, to experience and interview Shamans first hand, and he will share with us some of his experiences and insights from these explorations.
Turning 90 this year and being one of the pioneers in the research of Human Consciousness, he shares with us how he sees the role of our human endeavour in our journey of existence.
This is a rare opportunity to hear and experience Prof Stanley Krippner and to ask live questions at the end of the interview – an opportunity not to be missed!
