Dr Emiliano Toso – Biology is Music: Understanding the Beauty of our Cells as a Symphony of Life

How do our cells create a symphony of life?

We are a community of 50 trillion living organisms: our cells. Each cell is a beautiful micro-representation on a human body. As a researcher I studied for 20 years in an analytical way what makes our cells and our body but I forgot to consider some important ingredients like emotions, movement and life flow. With music I found a way of integrating science and medicine, while taking care of our body in a holistic way. In this session we’ll take a journey inside our cells and we’ll experience live music played on a Steinway coda piano tuned at 432 Hz.
