He is the editor of the prestigious periodical World Futures: The Journal of New Paradigm Research, founder-president of the international think tank The Club of Budapest, founder-president of The Laszlo Institute of New Paradigm Research, and chairperson of The Wisdom Council of the new internet platform People Together. He is the author of over one hundred books translated into 24 languages, including The Wisdom Principles, along with nearly four hundred studies and articles. Thomas LegrandSustainability expertHolding a PhD in Economics and having studied international development, political science, and management, Thomas Legrand works in the field of sustainability for UN agencies, companies, and NGOs. His spiritual journey began at the age of 23 with an encounter with native spirituality in Mexico, before embracing the wisdom of a wide range of traditions and practices. He lives with his wife and their two young daughters near Plum Village, the monastery of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh in the Southwest of France, his country. His spiritual search, his thought as a social scientist and his professional experience have gradually converged on the importance of spiritual wisdom in humanity’s ongoing transition. Satish KumarEnvironmentalist, Author, SpeakerSatish Kumar was the Editor-in-Chief of Resurgence Magazine (now with the Ecologist) for 43 years and was the Founder of Schumacher College in Dartington. At nine years of age, Satish renounced the world and joined the brotherhood of Jain monks. At the age of eighteen, he left the monastic order and became a campaigner working to turn Gandhi’s vision of a peaceful world into reality.
