The chakras are understood to be subtle energy centres which connect the physical, psychological and spiritual aspects of our being. In the Sanskrit scriptures they are referred to as divine energies of consciousness.  In this session Glen will guide you through the seven major chakras from the Base to the Crown, exploring the psychological expression of each chakra and linking it to theories of developmental psychology. She will discuss the three principal nadis or subtle energy channels; Pingala, the Solar (traditionally masculine) channel; Ida, the Lunar (traditionally feminine) channel; and Sushumna, a central channel of balance. These different expressions of the chakras also have parallels with findings in developmental psychology.  By embracing and balancing all the different aspects of the psyche represented by the chakras, we have the potential to further our own development, and with that, our ability to influence the universal field of energy that surrounds our world.  Glen will end the session with a guided visualisation taking us through the chakra system at a more experiential level.
