Rendezvous with the Last Mages: The Secret Life of Isaac Newton ventures beyond the familiar story of falling apples to explore the more enigmatic dimensions of one of history’s greatest scientific minds.
Newton transformed our understanding of the universe through revolutionary work in optics, mathematics, mechanics and gravity. Yet behind these extraordinary achievements was a complex and intensely enquiring figure whose interests extended far beyond what we now regard as conventional science. He investigated the hidden workings of nature and remained convinced that forces still poorly understood in his own age played a fundamental role in the cosmos.
Tim Wyatt and Dr Edi Bilimoria set out to challenge some of the myths surrounding Newton and reveal a more intriguing figure: not simply a founding father of modern science, but a man standing at a remarkable crossroads between emerging scientific thought and older traditions of enquiry into nature’s mysteries.

About the speakers:
Tim Wyatt is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, journalist, writer and broadcaster with more than four decades’ experience in the media, including work as a reporter for the BBC, ITV and Sky. A lifelong student of esoteric philosophy and the Ageless Wisdom, he lectures widely on the Western esoteric tradition and is co-founder of the publishing house Nosegay Books.
Dr Edi Bilimoria is an award-winning engineer, writer and scholar whose work brings modern science into dialogue with perennial philosophy and the esoteric traditions of East and West. A former Board Director and current Trustee of the Scientific and Medical Network, he is the author of the four-volume Unfolding Consciousness and, most recently, Consciousness Came First: Revealing Evidence for Universal Intelligence and Mind Beyond the Brain.
