About Speaker

Dr Penny Sartori worked as a nurse for 21 years. She undertook one of the UK’s first prospective studies of NDEs over the course of five years under the supervision of Professor Paul Badham and Dr Peter Fenwick. She was awarded a PhD for her research in 2005. She continues to research NDEs and currently works at Swansea University where she is a senior lecturer in adult nursing. She is the author of The Wisdom of Near-Death Experiences and, with Kelly Walsh, The Transformative Power of Near-Death Experiences.
