Statement regarding recently released Epstein correspondence
Recent document releases in the United States have included historical email correspondence between the late Dr Peter Fenwick, former President of the Scientific and Medical Network, and Jeffrey Epstein between 2016 and 2018.
The correspondence related to exploratory discussions concerning potential funding for research projects. No funding from Jeffrey Epstein was ever received by the Scientific and Medical Network.
We recognise that the circumstances surrounding Jeffrey Epstein’s activities have caused deep harm and distress. Our thoughts are with those who have suffered exploitation and abuse.
