Dr Silvia Caprioglio Panizza – The Ethics of Attention in a Digital Age
How does your attention shape your reality?
This talk will explore the ethics of attention: in what ways is attention morally relevant? Dr Silvia Caprioglio Panizza will argue that attention provides the foundation of our moral world – it shapes how we see the world, what we value, and which possibilities we have. It follows that we should pay attention to our attention, and claim the freedom not only to choose our objects of attention, but also to reclaim our capacity to deploy it fully and to be open to its transformative potential.
